Thursday's events--

Um...I got nothing. There is a new podcast posted over on the right there---THANKS so much for listening to them. It seems like everyone is having fun with it--and I certainly am.

Since I don't feel like writing prose today---Let's just list what I did today:

  1. I bought a new shirt
  2. I have decided to change my tracker profile pic
  3. I watched Ultraviolet (it's not real good---but Milla Jovovich is super smoking hot!)
  4. I ate red beans and rice for dinner
  5. I watched TV
  6. I bought fish food
  7. Oh yeah, Genene got me a Bobby Chan silk golf jacket---it's freaking cool.

That's about it---not my most exciting day---But I can't be "on" everyday now can I?

Workout tomorrow should be good---I am lifting in the morning, Kayaking around 11am, playing golf at 3:00 and back home after that---

Wanna see a pic of my new shirt? Maybe tomorrow---maybe I will wear it in the tracker pic--

Now go listen to the podcast!

Podcast #7, another Golf Pic and an update on Redding--

I was gonna pound on the guy that emailed me about the podcast but I prefer to just move on. I sent him my response--that will be enough.

If I could give him some advice it would be this: You don't want to get into a "thing" with me--because I am smarter than you AND meaner than you. That's a combination that you don't want to screw with---

The thing about these people is this: They would NEVER have the guts to talk to me like that in person. NEVER. But the internet provides them with what I call anonymous courage.

Speaking of the podcast, the little control is right over there---on the right at the top of the sidebar. Just click to listen. It's new today. It's a fun one too!

Redding? Nothing yet. There's your update.

I am playing in ANOTHER member/guest golf tournament this weekend---I don't know why I keep getting invited to these things---I am not THAT good---perhaps it's because I bring my dazzling personality. There is a great story on the podcast about my trip to the pro shop today---funny stuff.

See ya tomorrow!

This is Podcast #6

Day 1 of the 6 week challenge---GOLF DAY!

So I played golf today--in 96 degree weather---and apparently I forgot to sunblock the BACK OF MY FUCKING NECK!

So it hurts.

But I had a great day otherwise. My son drove the cart and handed me clubs--his first time to be on a golf course and he behaved like a gentleman--of course. Also his first time to drive 'anything with four wheels'-as he put it.

I played an incredibly tough course--and shot pretty well--all things considered.

So that was my workout today---no need for cardio---too whipped to do anything else--and my FUCKING NECK HURTS!

PODCAST NUMBER 5--Golf, music and more!

You guys are really kicking ass on this---but I need more emails to read. The cast was downloaded 55 times yesterday!!!! But I only got 3 emails---so what gives? I need requests!

Also, I went to the driving range with my son today---and YESTERDAY I shot my best 9 holes EVER and had my first ever HOLE IN ONE---You can hear the details on the podcast---

Speaking of that--we have TONS of great music today. I went a little cuckoo---

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND---New cast on Monday night!

p.s. See that old (and I mean OLD) lady behind my son? She hit me in the back with the ball three times---and she smelled like tomato sauce and gin. But she drove off in a car that costs as much as my house---I think it was an Aston Martin---so what the hell do I know from stinky?

OH YEAH!---

Look on the right----The PODCAST controller will be over there from now on---I will include it in the posts for the next few days--but from now on, it will be on the right there above the links....which reminds me--I need your links and PLEASE PLEASE link to my blog. I really want listeners in all 50 states by July 15th.

I wasn't gonna but OK....

Powered by Castpost

I wasn't going to podcast today, but I wasn't sleeping and I got some great emails from some new people. We had 30 downloads yesterday so here we are--

Just so you know. From NOW ON, once the new cast is posted, the old one goes away--so make sure you listen to them while they are up.

It's entirely possible that I will be in California for a few days next week so there may not be a podcast if I go--But I will have my laptop with me so I will be able to see your emails! Thanks so much for all the support--

Don't forget to email me and tell me what state you are in---

podkit@yahoo.com

I should have some golf pics to post soon--I am playing again this weekend. In the meantime, please enjoy the lovely pic of me walking along the river.

Gay Disco, punk, Geeks and requests

Powered by Castpost

So MY GOD--we have tons of requests today! Thanks so much you guys!

I will play them as I get them so keep 'em coming.

Also, good news and bad news: Since I (the good news) have been accepted to I-tunes but it also means (bad news) that I can't have more than one podcast going at the same time---so once a new one is published (starting tomorrow) the old ones go away. Sorry.

But YOU can keep them on your hard drive if you have any reason to do so---

Please tell all of your friends---I want to get at least one listener from every state.

Tuna and Mustard?

Powered by Castpost
The podcast is posted as you can plainly see- and i am having a great time doing this. I hope you guys are too--

We had a HUGE response from the first one. Far more people than I expected tuned in and I expect more each day.

Please make you requests to:
podkit@yahoo.com

Or use the link in the right---And please send the link to your friends and mention it in YOUR blog if possible. I would love that! Thanks!

Also, I will only have room for two casts at a time with my host, so #1 will be going away sometime this week---so if you haven't heard it yet and WANT to---you might want to do it today!

Thanks again! This is gonna be fun!

So it's Saturday--

My rower isn't here yet--I swear, I am the most impatient person of all time.

I want what I want, when I want it. Why don't people cooperate with me?

Oh yeah--and the picture? You wanted pics of me golfing? Ok---here I am ---

Driving....GET IT???? DRIVING!...

It's a crappy picture too--I know.

____

Oh yeah-- I want some more links on my little list over there--so if you haven't sent me you link, please do so and I will get them listed. Send them to wowisitme@yahoo.com

____

For those of you who are getting the book excerpts: The next chapter is all sex---lots of sex---and some killing---and then more sex---so if you don't want the sex---let me know.

Every writer at some point, thinks that people will freak out and look at him differently when they find out what is in his imagination--and everytime someone asks what kind of book I am writing, they invariably respond with "Oh. I don't like that kind of fiction..."

And I think that's pretty rude actually.

When I ask you what you do for a living and you say "I'm a barista"

Should I then say to you "Oh...I hate coffee."

Or you say "I am a stay at home mom"

Do I reply with "Kids are stupid."

Or you say "I work at US Bank."

Do I then come back with

"Back!...GET BACK VILE MONEY CHANGER."

If you don't like scary books or ghost stories or graphic scenes of debauchery and violence, then simply say 'Isn't that interesting. I've never known a writer before."

It's not like I am gonna force you to read the damn thing.

Wednesday--

I wrote a very creative and very poignant post about my mother in law. But Blogger lost it--and I don't want to - nor would I be able to - repeat the genius---so let's just say this:

If she ever used her head for anything other than scaring small children, it would be a miracle.

So let's move on.

I bought a rower finally--It's a Concept II rower. The same kind used by university rowing teams for off season training.

It's pretty cool. You can hook it up to the internet and upload your races, workouts and progress and then they rank you--you can join teams, chat online, join national tournaments---

Hell, it is more of a cult than Tracker.

It should be here next week---I am stoked.

I have some new pics to post--I will try to get them posted in a few days. They are on a memory card that I can't seem to locate right now. Suffice to say---they are terribly sexy.

I will try to post more when I can. It's pretty busy around here----

Home from the hospital

Everything went fine. She had to have a hysterectomy because the tumor was so huge, it has basically destroyed everything in it's path---but it's gone now.

This explains a lot of her health issues for the past couple of years--the doctor said that it was so large that it's as if she's been 5 months pregnant for the last two years--we are still trying to understand how her OLD gyno didn't find this monster. This doctor said that it's likely been there at LEAST 3 years.

The next post will be all the details of how my horrible human being of a mother-in-law attempted to turn this whole thing to her and her victimization issues.

Thanks for all the kind emails, by the way!

Here we go--

So my wife's doctor found a grapefruit size tumor in her uterus that has to come out IMMEDIATELY---which means Friday. They were gonna do it on Monday, but they are afraid that she will need a blood transfusion if they wait that long---We certainly didn't see this coming---We don't know any details, but remain hopeful. As her doctor said, they monsterous size is actually a good thing---she said that if a tumor of this size was cancerous, it would probably have killed her by now--so she fully expects it to be benign---fingers crossed.

Of course, I have so many roller coaster thoughts about all of this--it's hard to express.

ME? I am working out like a mad man lately. I really am missing baseball more than I thought I would. It's been really hard for me to just sit around and watch. So I workout, and write, and workout and write---

More later

Monday...

I really don't have much to say. I have had such a busy weekend. Some good things, some bad, some we just don't know....

Good:
My school, the University of Oklahoma, won their region in baseball and now advances to the Super Regionals in Houston!...BOOMER SOONER!

Bad: My wife is sick and has to have an ultrasound tomorrow to help find the cause

We don't know:
The results of WHAT THE HELL is wrong with my car. It just stopped steering this weekend. Yeah. That's right. The steering wheel stopped working. Steering fluid and pump and all that is working just fine....but the GOD FORSAKEN WHEEL won't turn.

Other than that--things are peachy.

I think I will write more tomorrow when I feel better---
Oh, by the way---my son took that picture of me when I was chasing him from the front door---pretty good pic considering he just held the camera behind he neck while he was running away!....

Just a thought...

I love tall women
I love women with crazy hair
I love redheads
I love high maintenance women

How is it that I am not married to Debra Messing?
